This Site is operated by Asia Carbon Institute Limited (“we”, “us” or “our”). We are a company limited by guarantee incorporated in Hong Kong with office located at Room 710, New World Tower I, 16-18 Queen’s Road Central, Hong Kong.

Accessing our Site

Access to our Site is provided on a temporary basis and we reserve the right to withdraw access to our Site or amend the service we provide on our Site without notice. You are responsible for making all arrangements necessary for you to have access to our Site. We will try to make our Site available but cannot guarantee that our Site will operate continuously or without interruptions or is error free or is virus free, and can accept no liability on account of unavailability, interruptions, errors or viruses. Use of Materials and restrictions

You may not copy, publish, distribute, extract, re-utilise, modify, edit or reproduce any part of the Materials or our Site in any form (including photocopying or storing it in any medium by electronic means) other than as specifically for the uses under the ACI Program, permitted by applicable law, or with prior written consent from us. You agree not to decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, rent, lease, loan, sublicense or create any derivative works from any part of the Materials or our Site, or use them for any purpose other than uses under the ACI Program. If you breach any of the provisions in these Terms, your permission to use our Site automatically terminates and you must immediately destroy any downloaded or printed extracts from our Site.

Links to third party websites

We are not responsible for the content of external websites. Our Site may include links to other websites so when you access certain links on our Site you may leave our Site. These links are provided for your convenience only. External websites are not part of our Site and we: (i) do not endorse or accept any responsibility for the content of those websites (nor the products or services on them); (ii) are not responsible for the availability of those websites; and (iii) will not be liable in any way for any loss or damage which you may suffer by using those websites. If you decide to access linked websites, you do so at your own risk.

Viruses

We do not guarantee that our Site will be secure or free from bugs or viruses. You are responsible for configuring your information technology, computer programmes and platform in order to access our Site. You should use your own virus protection software. You must not misuse our Site by introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us and any of our officers, directors, employees, members, stakeholders or agents harmless from any expenses, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses incurred or suffered and any claims or legal proceedings which are brought or threatened, in each case arising out of your breach of these Terms or your use of our Site.

Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including without limitation non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China (“Hong Kong”). The Hong Kong courts will have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any claim arising from, or related to, a visit to our Site.

Severability

If any part of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such holding shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the other provisions of these Terms, which shall remain in full force and effect.
