Governance

The ACI is organised in an open, transparent and collaborative manner. It has a Steering Board that oversees the ACI’s strategic direction. The ACI currently has two representative offices, one in Hong Kong and one in Singapore. The CEO manages and oversees the operations of the two offices. The Steering Board is supported by an International Advisory Group (IAG) and a Stakeholder Consulting Panel (SCP). The members of the International Experts Panel contribute technological and scientific knowledge, critically assess the rationale of a project and support the CEO in his/her work.

All the registered projects under the ACI Program are reviewed by the relevant members from the IEP. They are primarily world-leading scientists and engineers working in the fields of urban design and construction, carbon emissions, life cycle analysis, and ecosystem dynamics. They review each project against a set of criteria, such as logic, plausibility, state of the art technology and monitoring applied, etc. Below provides an overview of the ACI’s governance and organisational structure.
