7 May 2025 – Asia Carbon Institute (ACI) will host a non-routine public consultation webinar on the GHG mitigation project – “Bike-Sharing Program” in connection with our pilot initiative to integrate Digital Measurement, Reporting, and Verification (DMRV) solutions into the ACI’s carbon credit certification process. The webinar will serve as a platform for stakeholders and the public to gain insights into the project’s details and methodology.

This GHG mitigation project was designed within the sectoral scope of Transport (7), as established by the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM). Utilising the methodology developed from the established CDM methodology and reports from the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, China, the project quantifies the reduction in CO2 emissions when users choose bike-sharing over fossil fuel vehicles.
The webinar will also feature an overview of the DMRV Pilot Programme, highlighting its objectives and lessons learned that will inform the future development of the ACI’s DMRV Manual. Participants will have the opportunity to pose questions, share feedback, and engage in discussions regarding the GHG mitigation project and the development of DMRV for ACI.
